৭ই মার্চের ভাষণ ঐতিহাসিক ভাষণ হিসেবে পরিচিত। ১৯৭১ সালের এই দিনে শেখ মুজিবুর রহমান রেসকোর্স ময়দানে ভাষণ দিয়েছিলেন। এদিন এই ভাষণ শুনেছিলেন দুই কোটিরও বেশি মানুষ।
তারা ওই স্থানে উপস্থিত ছিলেন। এটি এমন একটি সময় ছিল যখন পশ্চিম পাকিস্তানের সামরিক সংস্থা এবং রাজনৈতিক মধ্যে উত্তেজনা দেখা দেয়। এ ভাষণে তিনি বলেন, এবারের সংগ্রাম আমাদের মুক্তির সংগ্রাম।
